Otolaryngology for the Non-Otolaryngologist – April 2007
This course was designed to update medical practitioners on the current diagnosis and management of a variety of common ailments relating to the ears, nose, throat, head and neck. Lectures are given by department faculty, and focus on cost-effective diagnostic and management algorithms that can be initiated by the primary care practitioner. Topics covered have included dizziness, tinnitus, hearing loss, epistaxis, voice and swallowing disorders, neck mass, and allergic and non-allergic rhinitis. This day long symposium takes place at the VCU Student Commons, Richmond Salon III, 907 Floyd Avenue, Richmond.
