This committee reports to the Assistant Vice Provost for Institutional Equity and Director, Office of EEO/AA Services.

Mission Statement

The University Access Committee addresses disability-related issues affecting all members of the university community (students, staff, faculty, patients, etc.) and monitors compliance with federal and state legislation regarding disabilities.

Committee Guidelines

The University Access Committee meets once a month except for December. Meetings in the summer will be scheduled as needed. Additionally, meetings are open to any interested VCU personnel. If you are interested in attending a meeting, you will need to submit a request in writing to the committee chair at least two weeks prior to the scheduled meeting date.
