The Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign

2007 Campaign ended on December 14, 2007

Virginia Commonwealth University and VCU Health System employees sponsored their combined 2007 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign from November 1 to December 14 with a focus on increasing participation among co-workers.

The CVC is the annual giving program that encourages state employees to contribute to more than 1,250 humanitarian, environmental and health and human service charities that have been approved to participate in the campaign. The list includes ten charities that are affiliated with the university and the health system: Center for Human-Animal Interaction, Connect Richmond, ElderFriends, Hospital Hospitality House, Loftis Bereavement Fund, Massey Cancer Center, Pediatric Palliative Care, VCU-Carver Community Partnership, Virginia Council on Economic Education, Virginia Mentoring Partnership.

Funds Raised: $547,609
