2009 CTE Summer Institute on Teaching & Learning

Pre-Institute Activities / Materials

Prior to Institute, participants will be expected to complete the following and bring the results to the Institute:

1. Watch the Private Universe video online

2. Participants should bring a copy of their teaching philosophy. If you do not have one, please do your best to prepare one (1 - 2 page at most)
3. Participants should bring any course materials to the institute that they anticipate using in the 2009 - 2010 academic year (syllabi, tests, assignments, etc). Participants are encouraged to make modifications to these course materials based on what they have learned in the institute.
4. Please go to the following website and take the abbreviated version of the Myers/Briggs Personality Type index at the following address
   (http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp).
   Please bring your results with you to the institute.
