VCU CTE - Teaching with Technology

Digital technology tools including hardware, software, and internet based systems continue to shape the teaching and learning environment in higher education. While instructional technology provides many interesting opportunities to explore innovative teaching practices, it is also a rapidly changing arena sometimes filled with an overwhelming number of options. Teaching with technology in a meaningful way requires not only access to and training on using the technology, but also practices and understandings about how it can be used to best support teaching and learning. At the CTE, we work closely with faculty to explore how good instructional practice can be enhanced by the meaningful use of technology tools.

The resources below are intended to assist faculty members with learning about instructional resources available at VCU to support teaching and learning. Faculty members interested in learning more about teaching with these resources are encouraged to attend workshops offered by the CTE, consult with CTE staff or explore on their own.
