Checklist: Teaching Goals Inventory
The Teaching Goals Inventory, developed by Angelo and Cross (1993), is an instrument that will help you
- become more aware of what you want to accomplish in a course;
- find appropriate Classroom Assessment Techniques to adapt and use in achieving your classroom goals; and
- begin a conversation with your colleagues about teaching and learning (pg. 20).
The Teaching Goals Inventory can be found in their textbook (Angelo and Cross, 1993) or on-line at http://fm.iowa.uiowa.edu/fmi/xsl/tgi/data_entry.xsl?-db=tgi_data&-lay=Layout01&-view.
This guide contains more information about Classroom Assessment Techniques.
