Online Course Development Initiative

Application

All VCU faculty members are eligible to apply for participation in the OCDI. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who are designing courses that are part of a strategic school or department effort to develop online programs. Interested faculty members need to submit the following:

1. Completed application form.
2. A letter of support from the school dean and / or department chairperson that describes:
   • Support for the faculty members participation in all components of the Online Course Development Initiative.
   • Supporting rationale which describes how the proposed course is part of a strategic effort in the school / department to grow online course / degree offerings.

All completed application materials should be sent to Britt Watwood (bwatwood@vcu.edu) at the CTE.

The DEADLINE for receipt of applications is May 1, 2013.
