Exploring Tablet PCs in the Classroom

Purpose

The VCU Center for Teaching Excellence is continuing its Exploring Tablet PCs in the Classroom program for the 2009 – 2010 academic year. The key purpose of this program is to engage faculty members in the effective use of tablet PCs to support teaching and learning. The work of faculty members in this program is guided by the following question:

What instructional uses of tablet PCs enhance the teaching and learning experience in the classroom?

Key outcomes of this program will focus on faculty members having opportunities to share and present their work with the tablet PC to the wider VCU community and beyond.
