- Develop a better communication method between the CTE and adjunct faculty at VCU
- Develop a support structure for adjunct faculty in order to provide instructional resources and services more effectively
- Provide ideas to the CTE for improving existing programs, or creating new programs, to better serve the professional development needs of our adjunct faculty
- Help in developing a better sense of community among our adjunct faculty and the faculty body as a whole
- Disseminate information about the FLC process and progress to other institutions with similar initiatives
