This presentation shares the initial findings of a research study conducted at VCU in the Fall of 2007. The study examined faculty and student preferences for learning new technology, experience using specific technologies in personal and academic contexts, and expectations for using technology in courses. An original PEW Internet and American Life Project report, The Digital Disconnect frames the introduction to the presentation.
