Skillport Login

  1. Go to VCU home page and log in myVCU using your eID and password.



  2. Under Single Sign-on links, click on Skillport.
    Note: make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off



Launch Assessment

  1. Once on Skillport website, select the assessment you wish to take



  2. Inside each assessment there are multiple units. Choose any one unit to start the assessment.



  3. Click on Play button to launch the assessment for that unit



  4. Each unit has 10 multiple choice questions. Passing score for each unit is 70%.

  5. When you start a unit for the first time, you will be taken to a "Pre-Test". If you pass the Pre-Test (score 70% or above), you can exit the unit and start the next one.

  6. If you do not pass the Pre-Test, you will be presented with a Tutorial which will cover topics which you could not answer correctly in the Pre-Test, followed by a Post-Test. You can take the Post-Test any number of times until you get a passing score.



  7. Once you start a unit, you should finish it in that session. If you leave it mid way, you will have to start from beginning the next time you start the unit.

Reports:

  1. To check your scores in individual assessments, click on My Report link on the left.


  2. You can see the report on the assessments that you have finished. See below:



    First column shows the Title of the assessment. Fifth column shows your Current Score (score of your last attempt in this assessment) in percentage. Your current score should be 70% or above to pass the assessment.
  3. You can click on the Detailed Report icon to see more detailed report in that assessment.
