Background
Susan joined the CTE in July 2006 from the University of Cincinnati where she both taught in the Rehabilitation Sciences Department and worked in the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning. She has fourteen years experience as a full-time faculty member, six years experience as an adjunct faculty member, and has worked in clinical faculty development for over twenty years. Prior to joining the academy, Susan worked as both a physical therapist and medical technologist. She holds an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Cincinnati, an MEd in Adult and Continuing Education from The Pennsylvania State University, a post-graduate certificate in Physical Therapy from the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences, and a BA in medical technology from the College of St. Scholastica.
She was recognized with the Creative Teaching Award from Duquesne University and is credentialed as a preceptor by the American Physical Therapy Association.
