The second annual Summit on Systems Biology will be held June 5-7, 2007, at the historic Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. The Summit is comprised of five scientific sessions to discuss cutting-edge approaches to basic, clinical and translational research. Dr. Leroy Hood, honorary co-chair of the summit and director of the Institute for Systems Biology, will lead a panel of pre-eminent scientists and policy makers in academia, industry and government in discussions of the future of systems-based approaches in biological and biomedical research. Hands-on modeling workshops will provide insight into applications for systems based research.
