Instruments

The Mass Spectrometry Resource is equipped with significant instrumentation for proteomics and other mass spectrometry services.

State-of-the-art proteomics services, research and development in all areas of molecular sciences are supported. Activities include research collaborations, service, method development, dissemination and training of researchers. Other functions include the determination of posttranslational modifications of proteins, detection and characterization of non-covalent complexes between biomolecules in solution, structural characterization of modified proteins in disease and single cell analysis.

The facility is developing rapidly, and resources are continually being incorporated to tackle every stage of a typical proteomics workflow:
