Frequently Asked Questions
May 27, 2008 through July 22, 2008. All participants are required to conduct 8 weeks of research.
All fellows are required to spend 8 weeks doing research, participating in seminars and lectures, and presenting their work at a closing symposium. Students are expected to commit full-time to the program, and cannot concurrently enroll in university classes.
A total of $3000 is provided for each student in three installments over the eight week program to provide for meals, entertainment and incidental expenses.
Students are housed in Gladding Hall at no cost. Use of provided housing is strongly encouraged.
Common kitchen areas are available in the dormitories. The dining halls are open 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Mon-Fri (not weekends or holidays), on the Monroe Park Campus. The hospital cafeteria is open on the medical campus. A variety of restaurants and grocery stores are available within walking distance of laboratories on the Monroe Park Campus, the MCV Campus and the Biotech Park. |
