Admissions
High school seniors wishing to be considered for the bioinformatics major will present the following:
- A strong "B" average;
- Evidence of achievement in math and/or science courses;
- A strong combined SAT score; and
- Rank at least in the top quarter of their class.
Transfer students and continuing VCU students with at least 15 college credits should present a suggested college GPA of 3.0 including relevant course work in science, math or computer science.
