Richmond is the place to be for shopping. From grand shopping malls to specialized boutiques, Richmond offers a wide variety of goods to suit anyone’s fancy. Listed below are some samples of what the city has to offer.

Carytown
Richmond’s oldest outdoor shopping area, Carytown offers a unique shopping experience. Covering several blocks of Cary Street, the renovated historic buildings, trendy shops, eclectic stores, and lively restaurants and cafes invite people from all over Richmond to pack the sidewalks. Whether enjoying homemade ice cream, popping in one of the thrift stores or looking for a one-of-a-kind vase, there is always something fun to do in Carytown.

Chesterfield Towne Center
Chesterfield Towne Center, located in central Chesterfield County, offers over 100 stores, including specialty shops.
