The Commonwealth Poll is a public opinion survey of Virginia residents conducted by the Center for Public Policy at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Each survey is administered by telephone with a randomly-selected sample of adult Virginians.

The Commonwealth Poll is an omnibus survey, covering a variety of topics on each survey. Questions about upcoming elections and public policy issues are regularly included. Each survey also covers a variety of topics that are custom-designed to meet client’s needs. For more information on custom-designed questions see our Research Services section.
