to the VCU 2020 website. We are pleased to announce that the VCU Board
of Visitors has approved the new strategic plan for the University, VCU
2020: Vision for Excellence. This website will continue to be an
important part of the implementation of the new strategic plan and we
hope that you will continue to use it to stay informed about the various
initiatives and activities related to its implementation, and to provide
your feedback as we move forward to realize the vision set forth in the
plan.
We would like to thank all members of the VCU community who participated in the more than 125 public forums, school and department meetings, focus groups and other meetings related to the development of the VCU 2020 Strategic Plan. We would also like to thank the hundreds of students, faculty, staff, and alumni who took time to review the draft plan and to provide us with their comments and emails. Because of you, we have been able to develop what we truly believe is the best strategic plan for VCU to date.
As we begin work implementing the VCU 2020 Strategic Plan, we would also encourage you to continue using the following links to learn more about strategic planning process and to provide feedback to the groups, offices, and individuals who will be working over the coming months and years to achieve our collective vision for the VCU of the year 2020.
