Departmental Evaluations

CIE works with the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs to conduct regular evaluations of academic departments for the purpose of academic program review and to support program accreditation. The Center prepares department profile summaries of student, course enrollment, faculty, degree awards and research expenditures statistics to be used for these activities as well as to support decision making at the departmental or school/college level.

At the request of a department head or dean, CIE also will work with an academic unit to conduct a special program review that is not part of the regular review cycle.
