Daily Reports

CIE prepares regular summaries of admissions and enrollment statistics by student type and level. Information about first-time freshmen are distributed on a limited basis and include information by state of residency, by county/city of residency for Virginia applicants and by high school for applicants from select Virginia localities. This information includes average SAT and high school grade-point-average statistics for applicants, admitted applicants and enrolled students. Additional summaries of transfer and graduate admissions and enrollment also are prepared and distributed on a limited basis.

From Jan. 1 until shortly after classes begin during the fall semester, admissions reports are prepared and distributed on a daily basis. From the beginning of summer STAR (freshman and transfer orientation) in mid-June until Fall Census II in mid-October, enrollment reports are prepared and distributed on a daily basis. Between Fall Census II (the official reporting date) and the end of the calendar year, admissions reports are not prepared on a daily basis. When these reports are prepared, they are not available for general distribution.
