Reports and Studies
CIE conducts regular studies of faculty salaries and tenure status. With the implementation of the VCU 2020 Strategic Plan, the Center also will be working with the college, schools and departments to study and develop plans to address diversity among faculty and staff, faculty mix by rank and tenure status, appropriate levels of staff support, and necessary staff development and successions planning.
Faculty Salary Reports
CIE prepares annual reports that compare VCU faculty salary averages to those of VCU’s peer institutions as well as other Virginia institutions.

Tenure Status Reports
CIE prepares annual reports that show the tenure status of VCU’s instructional faculty. These reports include distributions by gender, race/ethnicity and academic unit.
