Faculty and Staff Reports and Statistics

The Center for Institutional Effectiveness prepares VCU’s official reports of faculty and staffing levels, distribution by race/ethnicity and average faculty salaries. CIE also prepares regular studies of faculty and staffing levels, including tenure status reports, studies of faculty age distribution and analyses of faculty workloads. The Center supports diversity initiatives by providing university administrators and faculty committees regular longitudinal reports of faculty and staff distribution by academic/administrative unit. The Center also supports the implementation of various initiatives in the VCU 2020 Strategic Plan related to faculty and staffing levels and diversity by leading or supporting planning and assessment activities related to faculty and staffing mix, retention and development.
