The Center’s Environmental Training Program, geared for professionals to remain current with the latest trends and technologies in the environmental field, continues to grow. Under the leadership of Drs. Fox and Vance, this training program offers 54 short courses to over 400 environmental professionals.

Topics range from environmental law and health, to wetland ecology, to geographic information systems. The Center’s technology coordinator, William Shuart, recently became one of a handful of ESRI-certified GIS instructors in Virginia.
