My project research includes varied geospatial analyses that focus on stream health, habitat quality, watershed integrity and land use planning. These projects involve a number of collaborators that include local governments, academic institutions, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. In addition to project related research, more focused research includes using geospatial analyses to analyze terrestrial and aquatic health relationships (i.e. blue-green integration).
