Welcome to the VCU School of Business.

As you browse through our website, I hope you get a sense of who we are and an understanding of the exceptional programs we offer. More than 3,000 bachelors, masters, and doctoral students are currently studying business at VCU, located in the heart of the culturally rich, and ethnically and racially diverse, city of Richmond, Virginia. Last year Employment Review Magazine and BestJobsUsa.com ranked Greater Richmond No. 5 among the "Best Places to Live and Work in America." The city is considered "the ideal college town," and "a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship."

At the VCU School of Business we offer an undergraduate program with a strong liberal arts base, and a large number of majors and tracks from which to choose. Our outstanding faculty of teacher/scholars is committed to providing our students with an educational experience second to none. We believe strongly in experiential learning, and our students regularly participate in paid co-op and internship programs. In addition, they partake in team projects for companies in the greater Richmond area, gaining hands-on experience before they graduate. Senior executives from local and national companies regularly visit our classrooms, complementing the instruction received from our regular faculty.

At the graduate level we offer both a traditional and executive (Fast Track) MBA as well as an MS in business with concentrations in Decision Sciences, Finance, Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations, Global Marketing Management, and Real Estate Valuation. Also offered are masters programs in accountancy, taxation, information systems and economics, and the Ph.D. in Business with majors in Accounting, Information Systems, and Management.

As informative as a website can be, it is no substitute for a visit to our campus. I invite you to visit VCU and the School of Business at any time. Just call 804-828-3710 or 866-828-4287
