Seventh Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium/ ICAMS Research Retreat

On Friday October 23, 2009 the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology will host its 7th annual Undergraduate Research Symposium/ ICAMS-LCRD Research Retreat. This event is a forum for the presentation of research projects performed by undergraduate students and pre- and post-doctoral researchers from colleges and universities throughout the Southeast. Thus, participants have the opportunity to present research posters to a diverse audience, with a variety of research interests and expertise.

The event starts with a poster session/ luncheon form 12:00-2:00, followed by a Keynote Address/ Award Ceremony at 3:00.   The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) will present undergraduate travel awards to its 2010 Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA.  The awards will be presented to the best undergraduate poster presenters. Please note: to receive a travel award, you must provide documentation that you have registered for the 2010

 ASBMB meeting. Registration is free for undergraduate students. More information and links to online registration will be posted at the link below:
