A Non-realistic Setting Description

Your description of a Non-realistic or abstract setting needs to give us a combination of the shapes you imagine on the stage and the feeling you hope the whole arrangement will evoke . . .

				SETTING

	This is all White Alice's domain, in Anchorage and north of
	the Arctic Circle. Where furniture is necessary, it should 
	be contemporary with a vengeance -- so much so, that chairs 
	or tables can pass for communications control devices and 
	construction equipment. The effect must stop short of 
	anything resembling the world of sci-fi. White Alice 
	existed, perhaps still exists. All else is fiction, but in 
	a world where fiction often has the disconcerting
	ability to become fact.

	An immense concave arc, silvery and almost beautiful, lifts 
	from the stage and vanishes above. Reduced, it might work
	as a corporate logo. If we could only see it from a 
	different angle, we'd recognize it as a precursor of a 
	satellite dish. Seeing it as we do, we should feel that 
	beauty and danger coexist. And one would vanish without its
	twin.
