• Jared Clark, a May 2006 MFA graduate from the Department of Painting and Printmaking,
has been awarded a prestigious (and lucrative) Dedalus Foundation, Inc. Master of Fine Arts Fellowship in Painting and Sculpture. Congratulations, Jared.

• Congratulations to Lucas Krost, 2003 BFA Filmmaking, for winning the top prize of $100,000 plus $15,000 to donate to the charity of his choice, in Current TV's "Seeds of Tolerance" video competition. Krost's 12-minute documentary, "One Nation Under Guard," is about the prison system and was selected out of 380 entries initially judged by a panel including Edward Norton, M. Night Shyamalan, Paul Haggis, Jeffrey Wright, Melissa Etheridge, Margaret Cho and Morgan Spurlock. The winning entries can be viewed at www.current.tv/tolerance.
