VCU PianoFest
The fifth annual VCU Music PianoFest will take place on October 15, 2011 from 12:00pm to 6:00 pm at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts. This year's event is dedicated to character pieces from the 19th century for piano as well as classes in rhythm. Click here for details and to register.
The fourth annual PianoFest took place on October 23, 2010, attracting participants from Northern Virginia, Lynchburg, Roanoke, Williamsburg and the Richmond area. The PianoFest featured concerts by VCU piano faculty and students, open mini-lessons with student participants, a Schumann bicentennial competition and a participants’ closing concert. Past participants have included winners of VMTA state auditions and MTNA regional competitions.
