Concerts and events
VCU Music organizes several programs for local middle and high school students, including the Greater Richmond High School Jazz Band, Richmond Honors Band, Greater Richmond Youth Wind Ensemble and the Festival of Winds and Percussion. These programs aim to bring together younger musicians from across the Richmond area to perform in ensembles while receiving instruction from university faculty and guest artists.
