Bassoon studio
The bassoon studio at VCU is comprised primarily of music performance and music education majors, but also welcomes students from any degree program who want to study bassoon.
All bassoon students are welcome to audition for any of the numerous large and small ensemble opportunities available such as orchestra, wind ensemble, symphonic band and small woodwind ensemble. The flagship ensemble of the studio is the VCU BassMasters, a bassoon ensemble that performs a wide variety of music styles, including classical, jazz and rock.
