Program
It is the responsibility of the student and their private lesson instructor to prepare the recital program in the required format using the templates below. The program must be submitted to the area coordinator and private lesson instructor one week prior to the student’s pre-hearing. The area coordinator must approve the final submission and submit it to the director of marketing at least two weeks prior to the recital. Jazz students must follow procedures for recital program preparation that are laid out in the Jazz Handbook.
The department covers the expense of printing 75 recital programs and gives the programs to the concert hall manager. It is the student’s responsibility to provide ushers for the recital. The printing of program notes and/or texts and translations is the responsibility of the student.
