Scholarships and financial aid
Information on financial aid at VCU is available from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid.
The undergraduate admissions office also offers information on university-sponsored scholarships, including policies and eligibility. Students must audition by Feb. 20, 2010, in order to be considered for university scholarships.
VCU Department of Music scholarships are awarded to incoming students based on their application materials and audition. All students that audition by Feb. 20, 2010 are considered for department scholarships. Friends of VCU Music also provides scholarships that cover the cost of 3-credit private lesson fees for deserving music majors each semester.
Other area-specific scholarships are available in amounts ranging from private lesson fees to full tuition. Please contact the Department of Music for more information on area-specific scholarships.
