DVD Audition Guidelines for Jazz Guitar
and Jazz Drum set studios
All applicants that would like to audition for the Jazz Guitar and Jazz Drum set studio must submit a DVD audition. If you pass the DVD audition you will be invited to campus for a live audition and interview. Please follow the steps below. If you have any questions about the procedure listed below please contact Racquel Wallace at wallacerc@vcu.edu or phone 804-828-1167.
- Complete the online application and submit all the required supplementary materials. Change of major applicants must submit the online Change of Major Application.
- Visit our website and complete the audition request form. Your audition date will not be confirmed until you pass the audition by DVD.
- Please refer to the following links below for instructions and formatting of the DVD.
- All DVD’s should be submitted to: Racquel Wallace, 922 Park Avenue, PO Box 842004, Richmond, VA 23284-2004 by Wednesday, December 1, 2010. All applicants who submit their DVD’s by the deadline will be notified via email of the results from your DVD audition by Wednesday, December 22, 2010.

VCUmusic will not review DVD auditions until your application is complete.
