Duc Nguyen, Alumnus

Duc Nguyen is a working medical illustrator and animator in Richmond, Virginia and currently a professional member of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI). He was the recipient of both an AMI Award of Excellence for his graduate artwork and Vesalius Trust Research Grant in 2007.

Mr. Nguyen fulfilled his undergraduate education at the College of William and Mary and at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts before attending Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland for graduate study. His graduate thesis was completed on the applications and technical challenges of radiology-based visualization programs for three-dimensional modeling of the neck.
