Abigail Larson, Alumna

Abigail was born and raised in Virginia – the unlikely settlement of her parents, both from nearly opposite ends of the country. Both of her parents being art collectors, Abigail was introduced to the museum world at an early age, and was inspired to make artwork of her own. After several grueling years of art classes and filling up mountains of sketchbooks along the way, Abigail’s work had taken on a very distinctive style. Her artwork has been featured in galleries in Alhambra, California, New York, New York, St. Louis, Missouri, Washington DC, and Richmond, Virginia. Pairing up with fantasy writer Miranda Mayer, Abigail has illustrated the covers for Mayer’s fantasy trilogy “Tinna’s Promise” and has been featured in Ink magazine, Pentacle, and Myths & Legend magazine, and has done illustrations for Haunted Richmond, Blood House, and the Edgar Allan Poe Museum.
