Program Overview
The Department of Art Education at VCUarts is offering a new summer arts day camp for children rising into grades K-9. Students will explore lessons in various media including: sculpture, clay, painting, fibers, computer art, and printmaking. Undergraduate and graduate art education students will teach the classes. The day camp will run for two, one-week sessions. Children can enroll in one or both weeks.
Dates:
July 27-31 and August 3-7,
9am to 2pm Monday through Friday.
Location:
Classes will be held in the VCUarts Department of Art Education's newly renovated building, Franklin Terrace at 812 W Franklin Street.
Registation cost:
Standard registration (After May 30th):
$190 for one week
$355 for both weeks
*Participants will bring a bag lunch each day and a smock on the first day!
