VCU's Art Education faculty and students have carefully planned art lessons for your children that answer three questions:
- What concepts do we want children to learn?
- How can we teach artistic skills and principles that are age-appropriate?
- How do we make children's artistic experiences meaningful and memorable?

Creative Arts Day Camp
The Department of Art Education at VCUarts is offering a new summer arts day camp for children rising into grades K-9. Students will explore lessons in various media including: sculpture, clay, painting, fibers, computer art, and printmaking. Several undergraduate and graduate art education students will be teaching the classes.
The day camp will run for two, one-week sessions. Children can enroll in one or both weeks.
