Each year, VCU admits a freshman class of about 3,700 students and 1,900 transfer students.
Graduate admissions
VCU enrolls more than 7,000 graduate students in more than 140 graduate degree programs, many of which are ranked among the best in the nation.
International admissions
The VCU community includes more than 1,600 international students from more than 100 countries around the world.
First-professional admissions
VCU offers first-professional programs leading to the Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Occupational Therapy Doctorate (O.T.D.), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) degrees, all of which are administered by the individual health sciences schools.

VCU Enrollment Services provides essential financial and records assistance from a student’s first contact with admissions counselors to the final details of graduation. Each year, the VCU Office of Financial Aid disburses more than $270 million in student aid to more than 18,000 students.
