The official language is English. PROCEEDINGS Papers presented at the symposium will be published after they are reviewed. The manuscripts are due at the time of registration. Guidelines for preparation of manuscripts will be provided later. ABSTRACTS The deadline for receipt of abstracts is July 15, 1999. Information on the acceptance/ non-acceptance of the abstracts will be sent to the submitting author. A fifteen minute slot has been set aside at the end of each session to allow presentations of late breaking news. The papers to be presented here will be selected from the contributed abstracts. You are encouraged to submit the abstract electronically. If you choose to use this method, you need not follow any of the instructions regarding the formatting. However, please make sure that your abstract can fit within the 14 cm by 20 cm space described below. If your abstract contains complex mathematical formulas, symbols, or special graphics, please send it as an attached file using any word processor. You can also send Tex files as e-mail or attached file. If you want to submit an electronic abstract now, to get into an electronic form that you can fill out and send immediately. You can attach files to this form or you can cut and paste into the box. For sending the abstract by e-mail or as an attachment to an e-mail, please use the following e-mail address: brao@saturn.vcu.edu The abstract book will be prepared by direct photo reproduction from the originals submitted (or from the electronic submissions after suitable formatting). If you choose to submit through hard copy, please send two copies to Dr. Jena. In this case, the typing should be done single-spaced with at least a 12 point Times Roman typeface using a carbon ribbon or a laser printer. The typescript should be contained within a column 14 cm wide and 20 cm high. This space includes the title, authors, affiliations, footnotes, references etc. Also a margin of 4 cm is required on the left side of the page. Typing should be done in the following style. Begin with the title using a capital letter to start each significant word. Leave one line space and continue with the name of the author(s) followed by the name of the affiliation. Please underline the name of the presenting author. Leave two lines and start typing the body of the abstract. |
