Summer registration instructions

Registration for summer courses is now open to all students. Currently enrolled students should log into eServices to register. New students should follow these instructions for registration. For more information, including the summer studies calendar, visit the summer studies website.

Fall registration instructions

Undergraduate students register in accordance with earned hours. To determine your registration time, log into eServices and locate your earned hours on your undergraduate transcript where it says “Transcript Totals (Undergraduate) Earned Hours/Overall.”

Registration begins at 8 a.m. on each date.

Commencement basics

Commencement will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Richmond Coliseum. All candidates should plan to arrive by 9 a.m., using the 5th Street entrance on the plaza level. View the Commencement Info Flier for tips on what to do the day of commencement.

This year’s featured speaker is Pamela El, chief marketing officer for the NBA.

Students who plan to attend must RSVP by May 2. For more information, email univevents@vcu.edu.

Parking

For a nominal fee, parking is available through private contractors in decks and lots adjoining the Coliseum. Mobility-impaired guests and candidates may park at the Coliseum entrance on 7th Street.

Caps and gowns

Students participating in the ceremony must wear caps, gowns and hoods, which are available for purchase from the Barnes & Noble @ VCU on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses.

You may also order your regalia online at oakhalli.com/college/vcu.

Guest seating

The plaza-level doors to the Coliseum will be opened for guests at 9 a.m.

Tickets are not required and there is no reserved seating. Seating is limited.

Note that tickets may be reqiured for departmental ceremonies.
