Commencement basics

Commencement will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Richmond Coliseum. All candidates should plan to arrive by 8:30 a.m., using the lower Leigh Street entrance.

Parking

For a nominal fee, parking is available through private contractors in decks and lots adjoining the Coliseum. Mobility-impaired guests and candidates may park at the Coliseum entrance on Seventh Street.

Caps and gowns

Students participating in the ceremony must wear caps, gowns and hoods, which are available for purchase from the Barnes & Noble @ VCU on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. You may also order your regalia online at oakhalli.com/college/vcu.

Guest seating

The plaza-level doors to the Coliseum will be opened for guests at 9 a.m.

Tickets are not required and there is no reserved seating. Once capacity is reached, no one will be allowed admission.

Note that tickets may be reqiured for departmental ceremonies.
