Set your background image

To set a VCU image as your desktop background, follow the steps below:

Windows

1. Download the image in the appropriate screen size.
2. Right-click the file and select “Set image as desktop background.”

Mac

1. Download the image in the appropriate screen size.
2. Open System Preferences and select “Desktop and screen savers.”
3. Select “Choose folder,” locate the file and click “Choose.”

Create a screen saver

To create a screen saver using the VCU desktop images, follow the steps below:

Windows

1. Download the images you would like to include in the screen saver to your “My Pictures” folder.
2. Right-click an empty area on your computer desktop and click “Properties.”
3. Select the “Screen Saver” tab.
4. In the screen saver pull-down list, select “My Pictures Slideshow.”
5. Click “Settings” to make any adjustments to the display settings.
6. Click “OK” to save the changes.

Mac

1. Download the images you would like to include in the screen saver into a folder on your computer.
2. From the “Apple” menu, select “System Preferences” to open the window.
3. Click the “Desktop and Screen Saver” button to display the preferences.
4. Click the “Screen Saver” tab.
5. Select “Choose Folder” and navigate to and select the folder that contains the VCU desktop images in the resulting dialog. Click “Choose.”
6. Click “Options” to make any adjustments to the display settings.
7. You make click “Test” to see what the screen saver will look like in use.
